A couple weeks ago I had the privilege to MC the Renovation Conference, a two-day event focused on meaningful conversations around faith, family, and sexuality. There was so much to take away, but one session in particular gave me another “ah-ha!” moment about the Purity Culture. If you’re not sure what that is, don’t worry, I explain it briefly in my video.

“Sexual Purity without Revelation is just Rules.“

As we seek to be people that live out a brave and counter-cultural faith, let us not become so consumed with rules and behavior that we miss the heart. Rules never saved a person. Revelation is what ultimately leads to transformation.

Having a healthy and God-designed position on sex is essential to our spiritual and relational health. And to making sure we teach our children truth that leads to freedom!
